Data Visualization Workshop with Stephanie Evergreen

We are excited to offer a data visualization workshop with Stephanie Evergreen, July 19 & 20, 2023  10:30-2:30 each day. 

Data visualization is the representation of data through use of common graphics, such as charts, plots, infographics, and even animations. These visual displays of information communicate complex data relationships and data-driven insights in a way that is easy to understand. Evergreen Data is a cross-industry data visualization and design firm, grounded in research-based best practices.    

Due to the hands-on support and chart-making occurring during this workshop, participation is limited to 3 people per State MHI (Cohort 2 Only). Please discuss with your team and decide who should attend. As part of this workshop, Stephanie will use sample data visualizations and highlight what works well and ways to improve, including a focus on qualitative data. 

We are asking that each team submit an example of a current visualization from your work such as a chart in excel or figure in PPT– best in the original, editable format and not a pdf—that can be used during the workshop. We are especially looking for qualitative examples this year, so feel free to share any qualitative reports or examples, even if they aren’t in chart format. 

Please have one person from your team complete the registration form for all participants (and a waitlist attendee) and upload your example data visualization.
