Integrating Maternal Health and Substance Use Disorder Services in Rural South Carolina

The Health Resources and Services Administration Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs (HRSA IEA), in partnership with the South Carolina Office of Rural Health (SCORH), invites you to Integrating Maternal Health and Substance Use Disorder Services in Rural South Carolina, a virtual webinar on January 9, 2023. Participants will gain insights on evidence-based strategies to prevent adverse outcomes associated with substance use and discuss the benefits of integrating substance use services in maternal health care.

This session will be a state-wide convening of South Carolina partners in the behavioral and maternal health field, including but not limited to local health departments and public health clinics, health centers, rural health clinics, county alcohol and drug abuse prevention sites (301s), community-based and faith-based organizations, and advocacy groups to highlight best practices and opportunities to improve outcomes associated with substance use in rural South Carolina.
