PEACE for Moms is a perinatal psychiatry access service, which allows clinicians across the state of Georgia to consult with perinatal psychiatrists regarding medical management of mental health disorders in patients who are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or who have recently given birth.

PEACE for Moms is primarily a clinical service, but also provides resource and referral to local providers and organizations to support social determinants of health. PEACE for Moms supports capacity building by education.  There are educational resources on the PEACE for Moms website.  We can provide educational programs upon request.

PEACE for Moms hosts two stress management skills groups.  ROSEs (Reach Out, Stay strong, Essentials of Pregnancy) is a virtual class that meets weekly over 5 sessions to ease the transition to new motherhood.  Mothers & Babies is a class for patients who have delivered in the past 12 months, and focuses on developing healthy relationships and mindsets as a new (or new again) parent.  Clinicians wishing to refer a patient to ROSEs or Mothers & Babies should contact PEACE for Moms at 470-977-3223. PEACE for Moms is a free professional service offered to clinicians(physicians, midwives, NPs and PAs), therapists, doulas and social workers.  Patients may access PEACE for Moms resources through the website or through their healthcare provider.
