Kelsey Accordino, MPH, is the Core Manager at the Maternal Health Learning and Innovation Center (MHLIC) at UNC Chapel Hill. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia and began her career with Syngenta, an agriculture company. During her four years with the company, Kelsey moved through different job assignments as an associate in the Leadership Development Program and served as a Health, Safety, & Environmental Manager. She received her Master of Public Health degree from the Health Behavior department at UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health in 2019. Most recently, she served as the Health Promotion & Wellness Supervisor for Granville Vance Public Health (GVPH), where she led community-based wellness programs, systems change initiatives, and COVID-19 response efforts. She has experience in a variety of focus areas within public health including adolescent health, injury and violence prevention, and mental health and substance use.
